What does it mean to collaborate for Andrew Renfro, a managing director of Colliers’ Portfolio Valuation Services group. Andrew is constantly managing the expectations of clients, production staff, vendors and all other points of contact. Recently, the valuation team was engaged on several large (150+), multi-billion-dollar property portfolio assignments within a 60-day period. This required management of more than 50 appraisers valuing more than 450 assets in nearly all 48 states. The assignments included three- to four-week deliveries and involved a number of participating clients. With large dollar figures attached to each assignment, clients conducted their own internal reviews, meaning hundreds of phone calls and thousands of emails. Expectations were high. Andrew kept everyone on the same page, on schedule and at ease through what was a stressful and monumental series of transactions.
